This beautiful Machacadora comes from Michoacan, Mexico via Racho Gordo and uses a local wood called granadillo that only grows in the southern part of the state. Each one is unique.

This is the perfect tool for making refired beans. We can also say this makes a great masher for packing jars of sauerkraut, kimchi, making guacamole, and muddling cocktails!

These machadoras come with a honey wax finish that comes off with repeated use. We recommend using a thick mineral oil to help protect the wood.
