Join us for a demo on how to turn your kitchen waste into a rich plant resource! Meet some composting worms and learn how to make compost tea from common weeds! Led by Maggie Owsley of The Velveteen Bean. Local composting, at any scale, is a practical and fun way to impact and interact with our food system and a viable, local, climate action. Maggie teaches that composting isn't complicated, and advocates for a sensory, tactile approach.
