About the Event

Learn how to turn seasonal fruit, herbs, and wild ingredients into delicious handcrafted natural wines. We'll dive into the fundamentals of alcoholic fermentation and explore every stage of the winemaking process — from cultivating wild yeast and preparing the must, to fermentation, aging, and bottling. As part of this hands-on workshop, each student will take home a jar of actively fermenting wine.

This workshop is taught by Daniel Goldberg, founder of Feral Ecology. He is an educator, community organizer and practitioner of ancestral foodways, including fermentation, foraging, and fire cooking. Through cultivating both microbial and human cultures, he crafts natural wines, meads, and ciders from wild-foraged fruit, bringing people into direct relationship with the land.

All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store.

The minimum age for this workshops is 21 years old.

All Workshop Sales are final. Reschedule requests require 5 days advanced notice. Review our complete Cancellation Policy here.
