Pomegranate Kombucha

Pomegranates are an ancient fruit often revered as a symbol of health, fertility and eternal life. They are a great source of antioxidants and vitamin C.

INGREDIENTS

3-4 quarts plain kombucha

2-3 cups of pure (no additives) pomegranate juice

Combine all ingredients in a large jar and stir. (Feel free to add more or less juice to taste.) Using a funnel, bottle your pomegranate kombucha following the instructions in the Classic Kombucha recipe.

Take note that your kombucha will carbonate faster due to the addition of (fermentable) sugar from the fresh juice.
