This organic matcha is made from first flush, single-estate tencha leaves that are shade-grown for 20 days on volcanic mountain slopes. The clean and full-bodied depth of this matcha registers as pure umami; It is light, sweetly floral, and has hints of nuttiness. Prepare usucha or koicha style.
