MODERN MISO MAKING

Join us for a class on making a seasonal miso with local miso maker Eleana from Shared Cultures! Together we'll learn all about koji - the funghi responsible for miso, shoyu, sake and more! Then we'll make a batch of "modern" miso using koji rice, chickpeas and a seasonal vegetable.

About the Event

As part of the workshop, each student will receive a quart-size jar of "modern" miso to take home and ferment! 



All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store. The minimum age for our workshops is 14 years old.
