About the Event
Learn the versatility of ancient heirloom dairy cultures like milk kefir and yogurt. Explore the art of fermenting dairy and create a diverse assortment of products like milk kefir, yogurt, labneh, fresh cheese curds, creme fraiche, cultured butter and more!
In this workshop, we'll DISCUSS the basics of fermenting dairy and how to maintain heirloom cultures like milk kefir grains and yogurt cultures. We will get HANDS-ON churning a batch of cultured cream into butter. Plus we will TASTE an assortment of fermented dairy products like milk kefir, yogurt, labneh, fresh cheese curds, creme fraiche, cultured butter and more. Everyone will TAKE AWAY a kefir culture to create their own products at home.
